Zoe Beaulne
I was introduced to Pilates in 2000 while training for a Diploma in Circus Arts at The Circus Space in London, UK. Although, at that time, I didn't fully understand how Pilates was helping my body, something about it stuck with me. Many years later, whilst working as a Trapeze artist for Cirque du Soleil on the touring show 'Varekai', I became injured and required a hip surgery. As part of my rehabilitation I was reintroduced to the Pilates world; this time I was hooked. Since then, Pilates has helped me make a full recovery from 3 hip surgeries and 1 shoulder surgery.

During the latter half of my 11-year Trapeze career, Pilates became an integral part of my training regime. After performing in the opening ceremony of The London Olympic Games 2012, I made a full retirement from 'Circus life' and completed my first Pilates certification. Transitioning to a Pilates Instructor seemed like the natural step in my career, and I was excited to share what I'd learned about the healing and strengthening benefits of this form of full-body exercise.

I moved to Hudson, Quebec from the U.K with my husband and 2 children in 2014.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to share the joy of movement with many people in and around my local community. I've worked with and have seen how Pilates can help mothers recover from child birth, seniors stay active, recreational athletes improve stability and technique in their sport and many more.

I'm now looking forward to bringing the benefits and joy of Pilates to even more people.
The Studio
What is Pilates equipment?
The Pilates reformer is a traditional piece of Pilates equipment which looks like a bed with springs, ropes and pulleys.
It can look a little intimidating, but despite its medieval appearance it is an incredibly versatile and effective piece of equipment.
The reformer provides a wide variety of movements, working the entire body.
Who can use the reformer?
The answer is anybody.
The reformer can improve muscle endurance, peripheral joint stability, balance, co-ordination and much more.
The intensity can be varied from person to person, making it a great tool for anyone. Whether your goal is a workout, athletic cross-training tool or re-habilitation purposes.

"Zoe is an absolute gem! I was not new to Pilates when I started with her, but she took it to a completely new level and helped me comprehend the essence of the movements and adjusted them perfectly to my personal needs and challenges.
I have made tremendous progress in a very short time thanks to her skills and passion.
I am very grateful to have met her on my journey to recovery and am looking forward to finally reaching my goals with her help.
Thank you so much Zoe, you have helped me feel stronger in my body than I have in the last few (to many!) years."

"Zoe worked with me to redress my posture misalignment caused by a chronic health condition. She researched specific exercises to target the particular areas (back, neck and joints) that needed to be addressed. These exercises increased in variety and effectiveness over time, leading to a marked improvement in the range of my mobility. I was impressed not only with the consistent efforts Zoe made in devising and meticulously leading me through different exercise routines but also in ensuring that I was making steady progress. And palpable progress I did make".
